Scottish Sinfonia: Favourite concertos

Sunday 22nd May 2022, 7:30pm
Scottish Sinfonia: Favourite concertos
St Cuthbert's Parish Church

Chausson Poeme (soloist: Michael Bell)
Beethoven Romance in F major (soloist: Emily Bell)
Mozart Piano concerto [TBA] (soloist: Alissa Bell)
Bach Concerto for two violins in D minor (soloists: Michael and Emily Bell)
Mendelssohn Violin concerto in E minor (soloist: Daniel Bell)

Conducted by Neil Mantle

Daniel Bell is Concertmaster of the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra and all three of his children are highly gifted young musicians in their own right. We are hugely delighted to be able to bring them together for this very special concert. If you enjoy witnessing the next generation of musical talent emerging, this is an occasion not to miss!
They have chosen an enticing mixture of the most universally-loved concertos with less familiar but highly rewarding works.
